These terms govern your use of Portfolio Hub, operated by Advantage Advisors LLC (“we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: Contact Us.
The service
Portfolio Hub is software for investment advisors and family offices to track portfolios, record cash and holdings, calculate billing, and generate client reports. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at Contact Us if you suspect unauthorized access. Enable two-factor authentication for added protection.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. Specifically, you will not: attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system or other users’ data; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system except through responsible disclosure; interfere with or disrupt the service; upload malicious code; or use the service to violate any law or the rights of others.
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you enter into Portfolio Hub. You grant us the limited right to store, process, and display that data as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter any client or third-party data you upload, and for your own legal and regulatory obligations to your clients. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Portfolio Hub is a software tool. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and nothing it produces should be treated as such. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all calculations, valuations, and reports before relying on them or sharing them with clients. Advisory decisions and client communications remain your responsibility.
Accuracy and verification
We work to make the software calculate correctly, but the accuracy of any report depends on the data you enter and the settings you choose. You are responsible for verifying that inputs, valuations, and outputs are correct. We are not liable for decisions made based on inaccurate data or unverified reports.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may suspend access to protect the security or integrity of the system.
Fees
If your access is subscription-based, fees, billing frequency, and payment terms are as agreed with us. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice to account holders.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. On termination, you may request a copy of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advantage Advisors LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or investment losses, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Advantage Advisors LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your data, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
