This policy explains what information Portfolio Hub collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Portfolio Hub is operated by Advantage Advisors LLC (“we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company. Questions: Contact Us.

Who this policy covers

Portfolio Hub is a business tool used by investment advisors and family offices. Our direct customer is the advisory firm that subscribes to the software. That firm may enter data about its own clients. This policy describes our practices; the firm using Portfolio Hub is responsible for its own privacy obligations to its clients.

What we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you enable two-factor authentication, we store what is needed to verify your one-time codes.

Portfolio and financial data. Advisors using Portfolio Hub enter data such as account holdings, valuations, cash activity, billing details, and client identifiers. This data is entered by the firm and stored to provide the reporting service.

Usage and technical data. Like most web applications, we log basic technical information such as sign-in events, IP address, and browser type. We use this for security, troubleshooting, and account alerts.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and operate the service: to authenticate you, calculate and display portfolio and billing data, generate reports, send transactional and security email, and keep the system secure. We may use aggregated, de-identified information to understand usage and improve the product.

How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the service:

Service providers. We use SendGrid to send email and a managed hosting provider to run the application and database. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Within your firm. Data you enter is visible to other authorized users at your firm, according to the access roles your administrator sets.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.

We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

Data retention

We retain account and portfolio data for as long as your firm maintains an active account, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. If your firm closes its account, contact us and we will delete or return your data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirements. Backups are retained on a rolling basis and are overwritten over time.

Security

We protect data using bcrypt password hashing, two-factor authentication, encrypted connections (HTTPS), CSRF protection, and regular backups. See our Security page for details. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your account information and notification preferences in your profile. If you want to access, correct, or delete data held about you, contact us at Contact Us. If you are a client of an advisory firm using Portfolio Hub, direct data requests to that firm, since they control the data they enter.

Children

Portfolio Hub is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
